Day 92 - Not An Assassin

Dragged my cousin brother to pose for me. He was rather reluctant though...

He has this BB gun that runs on spring loading. Damn, kids and their toys these days.

Day 91 - Clouds

Do you know that taking pics of the cloud formations is actually called 'Cloud Photography'? Meaning, when done right, it's supposed to be categorised as art.

The clear blue skies these few days was the best time to try some.

This either looks like one of those hiragana characters (found it: さ , read 'sa'), or some cartoon character that I can't think of right now.

This is either 'I <3 U' or I O U', which have 2 totally different meanings.
Someday I'll refer someone to this pic, for either of the 2 meanings.

Day 90 - Oh Finally a Spidey Revisit!

I still remember my spider shot from the LX3. The 'macro' was hopeless. At least that's how I feel now.

Been seeing spiders here and there but all were too active in trying to escape.

This one stayed.

Day 89 - When Disaster Strikes...

When disaster strikes (like when a fully loaded clothes hanger tumbles onto it's side),

Always the first to arrive is 'Trooper:

He scouts the perimeter of the disaster area...

And when he's satisfied,

He strikes a pose...

and camwhores. Useless piece of junk...

Day 88 - Merdeka!

'Trooper wants to say something:

Day 83 - HDR Sucks (but not so bad either)

My first time doing HDR gave me a very very bad impression of it. Troublesome. Funky. Weird. Unpredictable. The few recommended ones on the net were crap.

In the end vomited this thing using Photomatix.

Might wanna read up on HDR b4 "hey it's not HDR!!!'.

Day 82 - For Teh Lulz

A few moments ago my friend tweeted:
"The only thing I like at full house :) http://twitpic.com/2gokv2 "

I gathered my stuff, took a few shots, then...

A few moments later, I replied :
"The only thing I like other than a Full House:

Day 81 - Because The Answers Are Always There

You just have to look for them among the pluses and minuses.

Although sometimes, the 'Answer' is not always the 'answer'.

Day 77 - Light Trail Revisit

Decided to revisit the bridge I did the light trail on.

Reminds me of the Top Gear episode where Richard Hammond reviews the Lexus LFA. Cartoonish-ly Abstract.

Liked this edit a bit more.

Uhh... 2nd attempt doesn't seem any much better than the first.

Hard to tame, reflective surfaces are.

Day 75 - Black On Black

This is one of those times where I've exhausted my creativity coming up with a title and couldn't come up with words to put in the post.

Black~~~

This is a wallet.

Baa Baa black sheep have you any wool? ~~~

Day 74 - Imitation

Tryna imitate a shot i found in the forums.

Day 73 - PSA Against Animal Cruelty

This is a public service announcement.

I'm not an animal lover. Period. I've never understood why people would spend thousands of moneys to feed animals when there're more people starving and malnourished in Africa and other impoverished places.

What I post here will not change my stance. Because I have been always against cruelty treatment of animals.

Click to enlarge. Try and look from the kitten's perspective (yes, with the bruised, probably infected eyes).

Click to enlarge. This shot is sharp. You can see how the wound healed up nicely.

May the bastard who did this to these kittens get the karma he/she deserved.

I've got to say, if you have the smelly rotten heart to kick a kitten in the face and leave it's eyes bleeding like that, you're better off finishing the job and just end it's life. It breaks my heart to see this kitten living it's life like that. How if I kick you in the face so hard your eye balls bleed and go out of position, then I leave you wandering around.

Shot taken at my parent's hometown, near a warung.

Like I said, I'm not an animal lover. So if you plan to shoot me for not bringing these kittens in for treatment, please, it's a Sunday, public vets are closed, and I don't feel particularly for handling disfigured animals. This is the best I can do, hopefully reaching a larger media.

Judging by the severity of the disfigurement of the 1st kitten, it would probably not live beyond a few weeks, though it seems to be living fine. Maybe die of bacterial infection.

Day 72 - Random

Nothing to do.

Pretty close to what I wanted. Still ok.

If you can feel the texture of the leaf then I've succeeded already. Can you?

Day 71 - I'm My Own Warrior

One of the rare poser shots I do. Well actually I've secretly made tons of these coz I'm a camwhore myself. >:D

Day 70 - The day I broke 10K

Not exactly day 70, more like day 109, and a lot of it is due to the experimentation shots in between. Meh, dun care la. Snappidy snap snap!

So, went to Floria 2010 wit CK to kinda see wut's the hype all about.

Weirdly enough, I'm more interested in the bugs that I found.

This guy gives an ass about me.

No joke, I never knew bonzai's are literally caged plants. This shot named "Prison For The Inanimate".

Trails.

Yellow yellow yellow yellow yellow yellow yelo yelo yelo...

More trails.

Anyway, the next 2 shots are more like reporter/paparazzi shots.

I thought this Floria thing is supposed to teach ppl to appreciate flowers.

"Hrmm... Let's see what's in here."

"Aha! I found a flower conveniently ready for me to hold in my fingers! How wonderful!"

Who give a shit about appreciating flowers, right? Heck this thing is more interesting.

Walking away from this bullshit.

And so we left Floria, partially wet.

Who would give up a tour around Putrajaya when in Putrajaya?

The Treasury building just nearby. I had to 'make' that blue sky coz there just weren't any.

The so-called floating mosque. My grandmother could tell that they built it on land, or at least, reclaimed land.

It amazes me how there's an army of personnel in the mosque making sure tourists don't stay in the mosque too long. I dun remember Tian Hou Temple shooing away tourists within 10 minutes. And I don't think the Hindu temple at Petaling Street forbids tourists from being in the temple when a prayer is being done.

And I thought the mosque was just ANOTHER place of worship. Hey I learnt something new today.

For the record, I have the utmost respect for a mosque. I've always wanted to visit one and see how majestic they are. But man, just leave me alone to soak in the architecture.
